She was predeceased by: her father David; her husband Marshall H. Burton; and her siblings, William "Luther" Irvin, Ernest "Smallboy" Irvin, Matthew Irvin, Ed Irvin, Marshall Irvin, Ida Cowan and Adalee Burton.

She is survived by: her sons, Phil Burton and Gary Burton (Tammy); and her grandchildren, Courtney Burton, Luke Burton (Sara), Samantha Hinkle (Cody), Megan Schaffer (Rodney), Heather Simpson (Jimmy) and Danielle Schaffner (Logan). She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
