He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Allen and Eva Allen (Fisher); his wife Carolyn Allen (Green); and his siblings, Robert Allen (Barb), Doyle Allen (Eileen), Carter Allen (Midge), Frances Dunbar (Jack), Mary Higer (Lester), Donald Allen, Bob Skow, Steve Gregg and Hank Waltenburg.

He is survived by: his daughters, Carla Albrecht (Dwight), Ronna Bohlander (Gary) and Carol McDowell; his grandchildren, Jessica Myers (Travis), Brittany Cash (Nate), Nick Albrecht (Abby), Megan Keller (Chad), Jacob Bohlander (Morgan), Molly Bohlander and Joshua McDowell; and his siblings, John Allen (Janet), Anna Batts (George), Janet Gregg, Judy Skow, LaDonna Allen and Maxine Waltenburg. He is also survived by four step-grandchildren, and 13 step- great grandchildren.
