He was predeceased by: his parents, William Patterson and Frances Patterson (Kelley); his wife Delores Patterson (Foreman); and his brother Bill Patterson (Kaaren). He is survived by: his children, Melissa Mentis (Michael) and Courtney Brindley (Eric); his grandchildren, Josh Mentis (Emily), Alexis Mentis, Megan Mentis, Lincoln Mentis, Eli Brindley and Ella Brindley; and his siblings, John Patterson (Jane), Rita Olander (Bob) and Carolyn Kintner (Dave). He is also survived by three great granddaughters.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shirley & Stout Funeral Homes & Crematory (1315 W Lincoln Rd, Kokomo, IN 46902). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Shirley & Stout Funeral Home (1315 W Lincoln Rd, Kokomo, IN 46902).
