She was predeceased by: her parents, Middleton Birkey and Eula Gannon Birkey (Neal); her husband Stephen Bechtel; and her sisters, Mary Key, Rosa Gannon and Naomi Vandiver.
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Melissa Duval and Barbra Bechtel; her niece Tamara Brooks; her great-nieces, Shelby Carpenter, Sierra Carpenter and Cheyenne Brook; and also, Sofia Sanchez and Arthur Dale.
