He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Pfettscher and Katherine F. Pfettscher (Wagner). He is survived by: his wife Katherine Pfettscher (Perkins); his children, Steve Pfettscher (Debbie) of Highland, IL, Katherine Levy of Granger, IN, Jill Jeffries of Kokomo, IN, Richard Jeffries (Marilyn) of Galveston, IN and Laura Smith of South Bend, IN; his grandchildren, Hannah Gauger, Karlie Atkisson (Chris), Lena Rudzinski (John), Walt Smith and Olivia Wisler; and his great grandchildren, Megan Gauger, Jaxon Prichard, Judith Atkisson, Sloane Rudzinski, Scout Rudzinski and Banks Rudzinski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kokomo Humane Society.
