Michael W. Garro Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael W. Garro of Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on September 19, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Norma; his grandchildren, Andrea (Leslie), Tyler, Alex, Jesse and Megan; his great grandchild Daniel; his wife Shirley; his father Matt Hartke (Misty); his brother Mike; his sisters-in-law, Carole McKibben (Gary) and Sharon Summers; his mother-in-law Bernita Eades; his friends, Bob Gray (Bev), Mark Akers (Deb), Gina Jones and Rich Hellmann; his pet Bella; his brothers, Stan Reber (Kathy), Mark Fisher (Marti), Tom DiNardo (Karen), Max Widup (Margaret) and Jason Green (Cindy); his friends, Patti Moore, Rex Nimmo, Jerry Stephenson, Jerry Preston, Mike and Debbie Miller; and also Renee Follum (Steve) of Whythehelldoyoulivethere. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great nephew.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mike's name to First Baptist Church in Mike's memory.
