She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester A. Clawson and Mary Clawson (Stankard); her husband Leo G. Whitney, Jr.; her brothers, William and Jon Clawson; and her son-in-law Kirk Kennedy.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Whitney, April Kennedy, Joe Whitney (Debbie) and Paul Whitney (Louise); her grandchildren, Carri Yovanoff (Mike), Connie Higginbottom (Brian), A. J. Whitney, Katie Wisniewski (Ed), Ryan Whitney, Kaitlyn Morgan (Noah), Alex Kennedy, Evan Kozienski (Ashley), Kirk Kennedy II (Kacey), Kory Kennedy (Annalisa) and Kelsey Koon; her sister-in-law Becky Youngs; and her close friend Ruth Kozienski. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kokomo Humane Society.
