We bid farewell to Mary Ellen Thomas of Kokomo, Indiana, born in Newport News, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 6, 2024 at the age of 90. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. and Mary F. Blake (Edwards); her former husband Raymond Eugene Parker; her siblings-in-law, Sandy Werre (Willis) and Alan Thomas (Betty); her stepsons, Kelly Thomas (Penny), Kendall Thomas (Pam) and Kory Thomas; her children-in-law, Kathy Thomas and Steve Lovegrove; and her brother William F. Blake Jr. (Arlene).

She is survived by: her husband Melvin Thomas; her daughter Judy Bousum (Ben); her sister-in-law Alice Gurske (Ray); her stepson Kerry Thomas; and her grandchildren, Michelle Alexander (Dave), Sam Bousum (Kate), Brian Lovegrove (Joni), Shannon Pickett (Jason), Katie Wray (Brad), Raymond James Thomas, Jeremy Thomas, Josh Thomas, Jennifer Thomas, Michael Thomas, Kyle Thomas and Renae Thomas. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mary to the the UP Program - Kokomo Urban Outreach, envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
