It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marta Cecelia Rose Thrasher of Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on May 30, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. For Marta Cecelia Rose is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Tucker and Mildia Tucker (Snider); her husband James Thrasher; and her brother Danny Ray Tucker. She is survived by: her children, Michael James Thrasher of Kokomo, Christie Thrasher-Rudd (Jeff) of Indianapolis and Tara Burkley of Boulder, Colorado; her grandchildren, Charlie Rudd, Mason Rudd, Samuel Rudd, Celia Burkley and Emmie Burkley; and her sister Trela Hart (John).
