She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Rose and Deborah Rose (Duncan); her husband William McCarter; her son William "Bill" McCarter III; and her son-in-law Mark Lefler Sr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Dupes (Steven), Sheryl Johnson (Les) and Jennifer Lefler; her grandchildren, Julia Schnellenberger, Stephanie Childers, Mark Jr., Matt, Jason and Jeremy Lefler; her sisters, Wilda Harris and Louise Lindberg; and her sister-in-law Deloris McCarter. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Marion's name to Brookside Free Methodist Church.
