She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Bowman and Thelma Bowman (Fruits); her husband Charles "Ed" Swain; her grandson James Eric Swain; her sister Letty Greg (Jim); and her brother-in-law Milton Swain.
She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Edward Swain (Mona), David Thomas Swain (Amy) and Nathan William Swain (Dora); her grandchildren, Benjamin Swain, Mariann Swain, Melissa Swain, Jesse Paul Swain, Drew Swain, Eric Swain and Conner Swain; her great grandchildren, Carina, Lyra and Ara; her brother Jay Bowman (Patty Jo); and her sister-in-law Shirley Boles (Ronnie).
