She was predeceased by: her father Russel G. Smith; her husband Donald L. Small (Pat); her son Dennis Eugene; her mother Goldie I. Friend-Smith-Orr (Friend); her stepfather Guy Orr (Donald L. Small); and her granddaughter Penny Jo (Small).

She is survived by: her children, Cathy Tejchma (Robert) of Norton Shores, MI and Daniel Steven Small (Candy) of Markleville; her sister Lois Freeman; her grandchildren, Corey Tejchma (Keyla) of Spring Branch, TX, David Small (Dennette) of Beavercreek, OH and Melissa Eitniear (Eric) of Norton Shores, MI; her great grandchildren, Steven (Jaclyn) and Nathan McCormack (Trisha); her grandchildren, Bailey, Emma, Abigail, Solomon, Ruth Eitniear, Daelin Small, Julia and Sophia Tejchma; her great great grandchild Callie McCormack; her cousin Russell Brashear; and her sister-in-law Nora Small. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
