He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Arthur and Frances Louise Bassett; and his brother Art Bassett (Joan). He is survived by: his wife Lucretia "Crete" A. Bassett (Ramp); his daughters, Pamela Sue Keller, Patricia Bassett Rhodes (Dave), Rebecca Lynn Crone (Jimmy), Kim Henderson, Sandra Absher (Rod) and Hannah Wiebusch (Josh); his sister Marianne Gillem (John); and the mother of his children Martha Sue Ellison. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
