She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie N. Browning and L. Faye Browning (Johnson); her husband Richard E. Lavengood; her brother William Browning; her son-in-law Brian Ward; her brother-in-law Dr. Milton Wayne Boyer (Ronald Herr); and her niece Patsy Shepherd.
She is survived by: her children, Gregg McAfee (Adrienne), Gayle McAfee Hicks (Dean) and Jacqualyn Lavengood (Shon Henson); her grandsons, Dustin McAfee, Patrick O'Connor (Sarah), Zachary Shutt (Toni) and J. Michael Cook II; her great grandchildren, Jade Cook III, Harley Cook, Kash Cook, Kaisyn Shutt and Granger O'Connor; her stepgrandchildren, Heather Young (Nathan), Elizabeth Rosemeyer and Tyane Milem (Dallas); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Landon, Logan, Rylan, Grayson, Trace, Owen, Jace, Jayvenn and Jaylenn; and her sisters, Lois Boyer, Sue Herr and Peggy Oakley (Ben). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
