With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jonathan David Russell of Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on December 7, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Thomas I. Russell and Lois Russell (Johnston); and his daughter Jenny Russell. He is survived by: his wife Amy Ortstadt; his children, Abigail Russell of Kokomo, Tyler Russell (Victoria) of Texas and Mary Russell of Kokomo; his grandson Lucas; and his siblings, Sara Russell and Jerry Russell (Mariana). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in Jon's name to Christ Lutheran Church or a Historical Society of your choice.
