He was predeceased by: his parents, John Charles and Eula Lee DeWeese (Brown); his sons, Timothy J. DeWeese and Mark A. DeWeese; his wife Sue DeWeese; his siblings, Roma Heaton (Don), Carolyn Parker (Richard), Sharon Inman (Jim) and Billy DeWeese; his brothers-in-law, Jim Young and William Haack Jr.; his parents-in-law, Earl and Jeanette Cox Sr.; his stepson Billy Plaster; and his siblings-in-law, Norma Conklin and Earl Cox Jr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Collins, Shellie Hillis (Joe) and Chevelle Heaton; his stepchildren, Angela Yates and Jay Plaster; his sisters, Gloria Young, Marilynn Haack, Marlene Berry (Bob) and Connie Moss; his grandchildren, Brandon Yates (Lehily Vieyra), Zach Graves (Taylor), Brittanie Forsthoffer (Dominique Small), Hannah Collins, Joe Hillis, Amber Lipinski (Jake), Jeremy Hillis (Leslie), Jason DeWeese (Ashley), Joshua DeWeese (Brooklyn), Jacob DeWeese (Penny), Cara Bergesen (Michael), Jessica (Blake) and Desirae Heaton; his great grandchild Mary Gomez; and his siblings-in-law, Noreen Cress (Ken), Pam Cataldo and Dale Gainer (Stormy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
