He was predeceased by: his father Bill Smith; and his stepmother Marilyn Smith. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Roach (Stout); his wife Shannon Smith; his children, Jasmin Smith and Josh Smith (Shelby); his siblings, Dave Smith (Tina), Mike Roach (Lori), William Roach (Cheryl) and Candy Wilson (Dan); his grandsons, James Douglas Smith and Jace Douglas Smith; his parents-in-law, Karen Weaver and Larry Griggs; his siblings-in-law, Robin Crittendon and Corey Griggs; and his stepfather Bob Roach.
