He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen William and Carmen McCombs (Brown); and his siblings, Glen, Robert, Herman, Earl, Leticha, Marguerite, Eva and Luthera.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean McCombs (Ellis); his daughters, Deana Barker and Theresa "Terri" Holt (Steve); his grandchildren, Janelle Burkhart (Brett), Dereck Barker (Cynthia), Shelley Holt and Julie Holt (Jason); his great grandchildren, Bryce Burkhart, Ryley Layman, Reece Burkhart, Hannah Barker, Ethan Barker, Chase Barker, Connor Dobson and Logan Dobson; and his sister Wanda Jean Koegler.
