He was predeceased by: his parents, Brown Miracle and Cleo Miracle (Bourff). He is survived by: his children, Alesia Whittaker (Thomas) of Kokomo and James Edward Miracle, Jr. (Gretchen) of Bunker Hill, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Ambre Hayden (Landon) of Logansport, Joshua Brubaker of Fort Wayne, Jacob Brubaker (Kasey) of Liberty, Cynthia Miracle of Indianapolis and Savanna Miracle of Indianapolis. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
