James R. Butcher Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R. Butcher of Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on February 28, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father James Godfrey; his grandson Brad Hemmeger; and his sister Sonna Sherrow (Don). He is survived by: his wife Susan Michele Hilton; his children, Susan Cottingham (Ernie), Kim Herr (Mark), James A. Butcher (Crystal) and Julie Broomfield (Jesse); his grandchildren, Charlie Springer (Caitlin), Jennifer McKay (Todd), Beth Fuller (Michael), Brad Cottingham (Heidi), Christy Glenn, Nathan Steward, Tatum Hemmeger, Nicole Verbosky (Samuel), Abigail O'Donoghue (Michael), Ryan Herr (Meghan), Nathan Herr (Emily), Taylor M. Butcher, Jordan Broomfield, Jesse-Ben Broomfield (Brittany) and Jada-Claire Broomfield; his brother David Butcher (Ron); and his nieces and nephews, Cindy Dunlap, Greg Sherrow, Brenda Schwartz (Darrell) and Kevin Sherrow. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
