Homer L. Wensel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Homer L. Wensel of Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on December 27, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Wensel and Adeline Wensel (Busch); his wife Phyllis A. Wensel (Kirkendall); his children, Joe Ingram and Ann O'Neal Wensel; and his siblings, Bill Wensel, Garrett Wensel and Mary Jermone.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Bougher (Valerie) and Shelly Dickover (Kolby); his grandchildren, Jamie Bougher, Nicole Schuler (Adali), Emily Fishchuck (Roman), Emily Eisen (Jake), Jakob Morano (Fiona), Casey Gallaher (Jim), Kyle Dickover (Elizabeth), TJ Dawson O'Neal and Christine Dickover (Michael); his brothers, Neil Wensel (Sandy), Ken Wensel and Norb Wensel (Pam); his sister-in-law Coleen Wensel; and his friends, Cliff, Howard, Ann, Janice, Jessie, Margo, Joretta and Joy. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Homer's memory to St. Joan of Arc Church.
