Hazel B. Ingels Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hazel B. Ingels of Kokomo, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2024 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hazel B. Ingels to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Truss W. Baxley and Lula Baxley (Reason); her husband Richard T. Ingels; and her siblings, John Baxley, Truss Baxley, Alfred Baxley, Ellis Baxley, Edna Stone Williams and Evelyn Ingels.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Lods (John), Catherine Flynn (Richard), Patricia Slusher (Michael) and Richard Ingels (Robin); her grandchildren, Laura Osbun, Karen Swartz (Michael), Michael Flynn, Todd Flynn (Aire), Stephen Lods (Tara), Cindi Burgett (Jason), Landon Malcolm (Ashley), Ryan Malcolm, Carson Ingels (Leila), Matthew Ingels (Lacey), Angela Kerner and Kevin Slusher (Desaray); her great grandchildren, Craig Lods, John Lods, Jackson Lods, Katie Lods, Morgan Osbun, Blake Osbun, Jacob Burgett, Riley Burgett, Cooper Burgett, Zane Malcolm, Ellis Malcolm, Delta Malcolm, Rory Kerner, Liam Kerner, Aiden Slusher, Samuel Slusher, Declan Slusher, Kason Slusher, Nova Slusher, Evelyn Flynn, Alayna Shipman and Finn Ingels; and her great great grandchildren, Braelynn Lods, Zander Lods and Vera Lods. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lutheran Church (3401 S Dixon Rd, Kokomo, IN 46902). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kokomo Humane Society or to the Kokomo Open Arms Shelter.
