Harold Louis Hoeksema Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harold Louis Hoeksema of Kokomo, Indiana, born in South Holland, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hoeksema and Agnes Hoeksema (Huizenga); his siblings, Carl Hoeksema, Beatrice Presley, Joyce Jansma, John Hoeksema and Gladys Lucht; his grandson Cory Daniel Hoeksema; his son-in-law James Richard Lowden; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Hoeksema, John Presley and Peter Jansma.
He is survived by: his wife Theone Hoeksema; his children, Pamela Lowden, Curt Hoeksema (Vivian), Valarie Boscaljon (Jim), Rhonda Brown (Scott) and Cindy Overton (Greg); his grandchildren, Scott Overton (Claude), Christa Overton, Aaron Brown, Sarah Brown, Nathan Brown, Rebecca Boscaljon, Matthew Boscaljon (Lauren), Samuel Boscaljon (Brittany), Adam Hoeksema (Stacy), Emily Schlegel (Jake) and Brandon Hoeksema; and his brother Henry Hoeksema. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory (1315 W Lincoln Rd, Kokomo, IN 46902). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Park Church (516 W Sycamore St, Kokomo, IN 46901).
