She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie A. Smith (Woods) and Reno; her sisters, Cora Cody (Carl), Joyce Grimme (Meredith), Glenna Shelley (Robert) and Karlene Smith; and her nieces and nephews, Mitchell Newcomer (Jenny), Mark Newcomer (Tammy), Derek Smith, Carol Railey (William), Susan Phillips (Terry), Jill Dones, Robyn Staton (Ken), Chris Moon (Rodger) and Carla Booth (Howard).
She is survived by: her spouse Gerson I. Deutsch; her siblings, S. Karen Newcomer (Dale), Reno P. "Bud" Smith (Delana) and Richard A. Smith (RuthAnn); and her stepchildren, Richard Deutsch (Billie), Sherry Deutsch and Laurie Rucks (Russ). She is also survived by three grandsons, one granddaughter.
