He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Fort and Bertha Fort (Townsend); his daughter Shannon Leigh; his brother Leonard Fort; his half-brother James Fusha (Bridget); his nephew Tony Fusha; his niece Tammy Bellows; and his brother-in-law David Hostman.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hostman; his daughters, Elizabeth Yager (Mark) and Stacey McCauley; his grandchildren, Michael Yager (Lindsay), Ashley Overton (Scotty), Britinie Spradlin and Ryan Spradlin (Alisa); his great grandchildren, Adrianah Everhart, Kaitlyn LaCount (Darren), Jazmyn Yager, Keegan Overton, Ezra Enea, Declan Spradlin and Maeve Spradlin; his siblings, Jackie Finch, Richard Fort (Janis), Jeffrey Fort (Dina) and Kimberlee Fort; and his sister-in-law Betty Hostman. He is also survived by several niece and nephews.
