He was predeceased by: his parents, Garold B. Bitner and Edith L. Bitner (Thomison). He is survived by: his wife Kay Dowden; his children, Sarah Swoverland (Craig), Bryan Bitner (Amy) and John Bitner; his grandsons, Ari and Ian Swoverland; his sister Barbara Linzey (Bob); and his brothers-in-law, Ron Dowden (Denise) and Tim Dowden (Lee). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
