It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denver Lee Summers Sr. of Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on July 11, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Summers and Essie Lay (Cecil); his wife Bonnie Summers (Moore); his daughter-in-law Billie Summers; his grandsons, Clifton Winburn and Kyle Summers; his sister Margie Summers; and his in-laws, Olive and Glenn Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Summers, Denver Summers Jr., Kevin Summers (Tammy), Eric Summers (Renee) and Corey Summers; his grandchildren, Allison Gibson (Jacob), Noah Burket, Brittany Beatty (Chris), Johnnie White, Keith Krebs, Nathan Winbun, Colton Summers (Kali), Gayvn Padfield-Summers, Brayden Summers, Raylee Summers, Kynlee Summers and Hudson Summers; and his siblings, Jesse E. Lay (Mary Beth) and Thelma Corbit (Emmitt). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and to honor Denver's career in shoes, the family requests that you donate a pair of new shoes in Denver's memory to be given to someone in need in our community.
