He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Hoel and Doris A. Hoel (Boland); his daughter Brenda Harness; and his sister Alice Whiteman. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Richardson; his daughters, Pamela Johnston and Glenda Murphy; his grandchildren, Jennifer Gaddis (Chad), Cassandra O'Neal (Christian), Phillip Ratcliff and Calvin Murphy; and his sister Marilyn Money. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren.
