He was predeceased by: his grandparents, George, Barbara Spivey, Robert and Ruth Nance; his brother-in-law Jason Smith; and his aunt Cathy Featherstone.
He is survived by: his parents, Larry G. Griggs and Karen S. Weaver (Nance); his sons, Tylor Griggs and Riley Mitchell; his sisters, Shannon Smith and Robin Crittendon; and his nieces and nephews, Josh Smith, Jazzy Smith, Cody Sullivan, Isaac Crittendon and Kortni Martin. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
