She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Simmons and Mary Simmons (Stokes); her daughter Kimberly Powell; her former husband Clarence Gilvin; and her grandson Dalton Powell.
She is survived by: her close friends, Nancy, Sherry, Becky and Rhonda; her husband Art Hand; her daughters, Mary Roller (Brad), Shelly Breen (Buck) and Lisa Shepherd (Dave); her siblings, Tommy Joe Simmons (Polly), Bill Simmons and Donna Shuck (Dave); and her grandchildren, Trelanie Wyrick (Dan), Toria Adams (John), Joshua Shepherd (Jen), DJ Shepherd (Alisa), Bethany Wheeler (Chad), Cortney Lathrop, Taylor Rink (Jason) and Tyler Powell (Macey). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
