She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Stephens and Cecil Stephens (Mills); and her siblings, Junior Stephens and Marjorie Stephens. She is survived by: her husband Orla Charles Cowgill (Jerry); her daughters, Sharon Fleissner, Betty Darlene Foshee, Clar Adele Coy (Lee) and Barbara Porter (Otis); her grandchildren, Dean Coy, Kimberly Coy, Tawahna Voils (John), Michael Bridegroom, Christina Moore (Jim), Jennifer Beaver (Brian), Steve Cowgill (Jennifer), Jana Lee Coy and Keith Collin Coy; and her stepgrandchildren, Donna Folsom and Tony Porter.

Each year she attended their annual get together until they had to shut down because of Covid.
