Betty J. Hobbs Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty J. Hobbs of Kokomo, Indiana, born in Yeoman, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 20, 2024 at the age of 95. Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard C. Austin and Minnie K. Austin (Simmons); her husband Ray A. Hobbs; her son Steven; and her brother Calvin Austin.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Hobbs Respondek (Terry) and David A. Hobbs (Teresa); and her daughter-in-law Dorothy Hobbs Surface. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a special cousin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to WE CARE or One Accord Church in Betty's memory.
