It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Annie Laura Stants of Kokomo, Indiana, born in Garland, North Carolina, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Ray and Annie Simmons (Blackburn); her husband Richard Oliver Stants; her siblings, Mary Simmons Petty, Ruth "Edna" Simmons Kline, Mazelle Simmons, Charles Simmons (Iwada), Alton Simmons and Tommy Simmons; and her grandchildren, Devon, Sydney and Baby Stants.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Stants (Laura) and Cathy Cherry (Lon); her brother George Simmons; her grandchildren, Alonna Cherry, Morgan Howard (Rick), Tanner Cherry, Rania Hill (Trevon) and Kaylee Stants; and her great grandchildren, Israel Howard, Ezekiel Howard and Zaria Howard.
