He was predeceased by: his parents, Ram Prakash Joshi and Pushpa Lata Joshi; and his brother Sunil Joshi. He is survived by: his wife Ranjna (Punjab); his daughters, Vani, Vidhi (Sunny Sharma), Vijayta and Vishali; and his sisters, Karuna Bali and Aruna Vasudev.
