He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Clinton and Flossie Clinton (Rush); and his parents-in-law, Rick and Betty Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Karen Clinton; his daughters, Staci Smith (Brad) and Shannon Gomez (Eric); his grandchildren, Dalton Pitner, Hope Smith, Lavendar Smith and Gabe Gomez; his siblings, Kay Lasley (Jerry), Phyllis Rogers (Doug), Patty Carey (Kevin) and Wayne Clinton (Brenda); and his nieces and nephews, Becky, Chris, Ryan, Kristin, Melissa and Sarah.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Al's memory to Chapel Hill Christian Church.
