He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wilson and Marjorie Wilson (Krause); his wife Evelyn Warren; and his daughter Marilynne Wilson. He is survived by: his sons, William Wilson Jr. (Diane) of Texas and John Wilson (Cory) of Knox; and his grandchildren, William Wilson, Candace Wilson, Tyler Wilson and Kyle Wilson. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel (108 S Main St, Knox, IN 46534). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
