He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Cook and Betty Lou Cook; his wife Darla Johnson; his daughter Michelle Leed (Mike); his sister Terri Rife of Kentucky; his grandchildren, B. Brendan Minix, Meaghan Simpson, Morgan Leed and Dawson Leed; his brother-in-law Dale Johnson of Arizona; and his niece Tracy Johnson of Arizona.
Due to the Co-Vid pandemic, a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Starke County Veterans Memorial Plaza or the family.
