He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Berndt and Jeanette Berndt (Hausen). He is survived by: his wife Kathy Berndt; his children, Kelly Gerlach (Todd), Keith Berndt (Janeen) and Brett Berndt (Andrea); his siblings, Helen Guriel, Jerry Berndt (Bonita), Alan Berndt (Linda), Kim Potts (Garry) and Brian Berndt (Sherry); and his grandchildren, Bryce, Cameron Gerlach, Logan, Jonah Berndt, Brynn and Ashlynn Berndt.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cheryl Lyn Welter Family Charitable Foundation or the Linda Hardesty Scholarship Fund, in Memory of Sheldon Berndt.
