He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Shepherd and Elizabeth Shepherd (Estok); his wife Alice Unruh Shepherd; and his son Jerry Freet. He is survived by: his children, Julie Hoff (Tim) of Rochester, IN, Phillip Freet of Knox and Jason Shepherd (Crystal) of Knox; and his brother Gary Shepherd of Plymouth. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
