With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodney Bliss Sr. of Knox, Indiana, who passed away on June 23, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Rodney is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Rodney's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Orville Bliss and Elizabeth Bliss (VerBerkmoes); his wife Charlotte Shaffer; and his siblings, Darrell Bliss, Sylvia Bliss and Ada Saunders.
He is survived by : his children, Rodney Bliss, Jr. (Crystal) of Knox, Sherry Pinney of Winamac, Vickie Miller (Michael) of North Judson, Charlotte Griffith (Roger) of Knox, Sandra Lembke (Dave) of Beauville and Margaret Nichols (Nathan) of Koontz Lake. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
