He is survived by: his wife Hilda Singleton Adams; his son Jimmy Adams of South Bend; and his stepchildren, Robert Whitesell of Plymouth, Mary Deacon of Knox, Rose Cook of Knox, Peggy Whitesell of Knox, Gayle Hattery of Plymouth and Tammy Hatter of Grovertown. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
