He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter George Ludwig and Minnie Kasten Ludwig; and his siblings, Theresa, Florence, James and Maryann.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Ludwig of Knox; and his children, Bill Ludwig (Cheryl), Jane Intveldt (Bob), Michael Ludwig (Janet), Julie Canuteson (Tim) and Nancy Kreitner (Steve). He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
