He is survived by: his children, Michael Irk (Kathy) of La Porte, MaryAnn Hatala (Theodore) of La Porte, David Irk (Janet) of La Porte and Steven Irk (Debbie) of South Bend; and his brothers, George Irk (Karen) of La Porte and Jerry Irk (Barb) of North Carolina. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
