She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Adamitis and Juliana Adamitis (Dushatinski); her husband Kenneth Smoot; and her sisters, Elaine Angus and Betty O'Born.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Smoot and Kenneth Smoot (Isabel); her siblings, Patty Long and Bill Adams (Betty); and her pet Dixie. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
