He is survived by: his children, William Scherf (Gina) of Knox and Sharon Scroggins (Dwight) of Hebron; his grandchildren, Eric Scherf (Christy) of Scottsdale, AZ, Brandee Scherf-Rudd of Knox, Evan Scherf of Hamlet, Ryan Scherf of Knox, Darren Scroggins (Janet) of Wheatfield and Sarah Holm-Hansen (Kevin) of Wheatfield; his great grandchildren, Jeremy Crittenden (Erica), Qwynton Rudd, Aaron Scherf, Kolt Scherf, Draven, Ralend Scroggins, Maura Scherf, Makaila Rudd, Grace Scherf, Laramie Scherf, Ashley Rollins, Cassidy Quillin (Kyle) and Raychel Ricker; his great great grandchild Milani Ceja; his brothers, Milton Scherf (Carol) of Ft. Wayne and Jerry Scherf of Knox; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Tetzloff (Sandy) and Marlene Tetzloff.
