She was predeceased by: her parents, Chalmer Howard and Stella Pitts Howard; her former husband James Monroe Clemons; her fiancé James Collins; her sons, James Monroe Clemons, Ellis Ray Clemons and David Monroe Clemons (Cierra) of Knox; and her siblings, Roberta Burger, Ellis Howard, Bill Howard, Lonnie Howard and Harlas Howard.
She is survived by: her siblings, Minard Howard (Betty), Deborah Sunblade (Simon) and Marilyn Noble. She is also survived by six grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
