She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Chapman and Daisy Cole Chapman; her husband Joseph Walters; her grandson Duane Morris Walters; and her siblings, Ralph Chapman, Leslie Chapman, Weldon Chapman, Ed Chapman and Helen Meyer.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly J. Walters (Janine) of Leesburg, Lynn Darda (Chris) of Knox and Duane Walters (Denise) of Nappanee; and her sister Lu Northrup of Idaho. She is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
