He was predeceased by: his parents, James Willie and EmoJean Taulbee (Cole). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Pool; his sons, Joshua Taulbee (Amber), James I. Taulbee II (Michelle), Jonathan Taulbee (Angela) and Jacob Taulbee; his stepdaughters, Megan Pool and Mary Brayfogle (Dan); his grandchildren, Joshua of Valdosta, Athena of Valdosta, Gabriel of Valdosta, Isiah Taulbee of Valdosta and Georgia; his stepgrandchildren, Levi and Nora Brayfogle; and his siblings, Pamela Messer (Adam), Danielle Haddix (Chad), Howard Taulbee (Becky) and Kevin Taulbee (Renee). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Outreach Tabernacle Church.
