He is survived by: his wife Marilou Bontilao; his siblings, Neal Akers (Anita) of Brems and Jill Scutchfield (Joel) of Johns Creek, GA; his nephews, Nathan Akers (Courtney), Devin Akers and Justin Scutchfield (Megan); his niece Jennifer Eastman (Jack); and his family, Niece and Nephews. He is also survived by four Great Nephews, one Great Niece, a God Daughter, two Uncles, two Aunts, and eight cousins.
