He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Burton and Eunice Burton (Cox); and his brother Gene Burton. He is survived by: his wife Linda Johnson of Knox; his children, Tim Burton (Jennifer) of Knox, Susie Wieringa (Chuck) of Knox and Emily Burton of Plymouth; and his sister Sheryl Barricks (Anthony) of Palestine, Texas.. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
